Upward Facing Dog

I love fitness, I am currently chasing my own healthy lifestyle dream of Martial Arts and currently attend a Kyokushin Karate Dojo, where I am currently working my way through the ranks and striving to become a black belt, so i can help teach.

I have been involved in exercise since 1988, when I was just 15 years old, that's when I realised my passion for fitness and lifting.  Since then I have been off and on with my fitness, mainly due to my mental health and bad life choices.

Don't we all make bad choices from time to time.

In 2009, I was diagnosed with Complex P.T.S.D. Depression, Acute Anxiety with a few other diagnoses thrown in also.  Due to the mental health medication, my weight ballooned to a massive 150kgs, my waist was approx. 55 inches.

In honesty, I looked like I was going to die.

So the day came when I decided enough was enough, this was after I saw a picture of myself where I looked really ill.

So using the knowledge I had built up over time, I got to work, changing my life in more ways than just the physical aspects.

I qualified my Personal Training Course easily and got to work straight away, helping others on their journeys to a healthier lifestyle.
